You can’t build consistent habits while clinging to an inconsistent identity.
Think about someone trying to quit smoking.
The ones who succeed don’t just focus on resisting the urge.
They stop seeing themselves as “smokers trying not to smoke”…
And start identifying as non-smokers.
That shift changes everything.
Because when your identity changes, your choices follow.
The same principle applies to your health habits.
The change has to happen at the identity level first.
Because even if you try to take different actions, your brain will sabotage your progress if the story you tell yourself about who you are doesn’t match.
So what do you do?
You write a new story.
One where you’re the kind of woman who follows through.
Who takes care of herself.
Who know that she doesn’t need to be perfect to make progress.
But here’s the catch:
Your brain won’t just believe that new story simply by you telling it to yourself.
You need to give it evidence.
And that’s where consistency comes in.
Consistent action = proof.
Proof that you are becoming someone new.
Proof that change is possible.
