Feeling the Pressure to Change in the New Year? Read This
"There’s no wrong time to make the right decision." — Dalton McGuinty
Happy New Year!
I don't know about you, but for the past few weeks my inbox and social media feeds have been FILLED with "new year, new you" messages.
On one hand, being reminded of the opportunity to "start fresh" can be motivating.
On the other hand, constantly hearing about ALL THE THINGS you "should" change can be exhausting.
So if you're feeling the pressure to take massive action,
I want to remind you that it's OK if you don't want to change anything right now.
It's also OK if you DO want to make a change but haven't started yet.
Remember, change is available to you in every moment, not just on January 1st.
And the most effective change happens when we want it, not when we force it because we think we "should", or because it's that time of year.
So whether you choose to make changes now or hold off, it’s entirely up to you. I’m not here to tell you what you should want.
But if you do want things to be different this year and you'd like some support,
🗓️ Mark your calendar for Jan 22nd at 8pm Eastern. I'll be hosting a free virtual event called "The Goal Getter Bootcamp", where I'll walk you through the three key steps you need to take to stay on track with your health and weight loss goals...even if you've struggled with discipline or willpower in the past.
Looking forward to helping you create a 2025 you’ll love—whenever you decide to begin.
Until then, here’s to a New Year that feels right on your terms.
